Here is a mission statement I wrote about a year ago.  Since I am new here at Gaia I will be taking some time to post information about some of what I love, the books, films, activities and heros and quotes I like, meanwhile this mission statement still stands for me and so perhaps it will give you a glimpse into my orientation.  I feel so grateful for the committment to positive relationship and sharing here on Gaia.:

My mission is to join with others in conciously evolving our relationship to each other and our planet and all life on our planet. My myspace ID is INTEGRATER and if I were to choose a label for my orientation I would say that I am an integralist. Peace is what we need to bring forth from within ourselves; in transforming our human relationship to life on our planet each and all integral (essential) aspects of our shared reality must receive our caring attention and healing intention. I will not cotinually say “this is what I think, feel, perceive; please know that this is inferred when I make statements of “fact”. I am 61 years of age and for most of my life I have been struggling to integrate my expansive Aquarian nature with the more intimate focus of my personal reality. My interests are far ranging and my research is intuitive. Physical, emotional, ecological and social healing are all necessary and possible. Love, freedom, beauty, creativity and peace are our birthright and our challenge is to realign with these while helping each other have the courage and positive empowerment to face our pain, anger, and fear and hold a loving space where it is safe for us to feel our tender feelings. The most challenging issue we face is that the structures upon which our societies are built are no longer viable. We are in a situation akin to that of the road-runner who, has raced around a bend at high speed and zoomed out, still running, across a chasm without realizing that there is no longer anything supporting him. We can take heart however if we realize that the structures which have seemed so solid for so long are all appearance. There is a key to the shift we are going through. The monolithic, top down, stressful, hardedged, inequatible, uncompassionate, oppressive, judgemental, disempowering, fear based controlling juggernaut that is robotically and with no conciousness of the preciousness that it is destroying, that is wringing the life out of the people, animals and natural environment of our world, is dependent for its virtual hegonomy on us, the people of earth, remaining entranced in either discouraged submission or dependent conformation to its world view; for as long as we are considering this the source of reality to which we must submit and or upon which we must depend we remain unaware of the real and invincible power of love and creativity which is ours when we turn our attention to meeting the needs of the life which is ours and which looks to us for healing recognition. In my research I have been drawn to discover tremendous feats of healing, innovation and transformation burgeoning in humanity throughout the world . The destruction that is going on is immense, more than most of us even realize but as much as we dont realize how serious the depredations are and how perilously close to collapse things are we realize even less how courageous, addaptive, cooperative, brilliant, indominitible, blessed, close to awakening, accomplished and capable of accomplishing greater things than have yet been heard of most of humanity is and how much of this capability is already being realized and demonstrated. If we would experience being immersed in news of this inspiring, empowering and inspiriting nature to the same degree to which we are immersed in the news in the headlines and on the television, permeated with it as we are with stories of slaughter, cruelty and criminality we would once again feel the earth beneath our feet and the wind beneath our wings. My intention, as I learn how to utilize these tools is to create an immersion experience of what we are capable so that we can pull the plug on the cords through which, in our isolation, the empire has been bleeding us.
